The context
Crédit Agricole Assurances offers loan, protection and savings simulators, and informs customers of events on their contracts (claims, due dates, payments, documents) by email, SMS and in the customer portal.
My role
Full Stack Java / Angular Engineer from July 2019 to December 2020: requirements gathering, business scenarios and functional specifications; development of Angular screens and Spring Boot REST APIs.
What was delivered
Kafka JSON events (contracts, claims, due dates, payments, documents) and routing of notifications to email, SMS and the customer portal. 15 features and 12 REST APIs for around 2,500 users.
Quality & security
Message flow reliability: retry, dead letter topic, replay and idempotent processing. 85% test coverage and 35% faster response times.
